Umni completed the Next Floor accelerator with brilliance
With a round of applause and interest in Umni’s presentation on the future of smart city chatbots in tourism and city life during the Demo Day, we completed our participation in the Austrian accelerator Next Floor.
As a result of the three months of working with accelerator mentors, our team has accumulated a lot of experience, knowledge and skills from the best in their niches, such as Chief Innovation Officers at Red Bull, Vodafone and other well-known Austrian, European and international structures and organizations.
Leadership and screenwriting, business modeling with a Silicon Valley veteran, and many other inspirational lectures, meetings and talks filled the rest of the time.

Reverse Dermatology Clinic – Man’s website become 1 year old
Reverse Clinic is a leader in innovation in the field of aesthetic dermatology, and are happe to being involved in the success of the clinic and supporting it with our expertise. A year ago, the clinic was the first in the country to add a virtual assistant to its team. Dr. Ross, the first virtual aesthetic consultant in our country, is the work of Umni and the efforts of the entire Reverse team and friends along the path of this innovation.
The Umni City Concierge nominated for the 2019 Tourism Annual Awards by the Ministry of Tourism

City Concierge is an intelligent messenger chat that helps visitors to the city find the information they need through regular chat, and provides the city with up-to-date interesting and useful information about the city’s business, services, points of interest and events, as well as the forecast weather, air quality, currency calculator and more.
In early 2019, Umni launched the Plovdiv City Concierge – the Plovdiv City Concierge, as a pilot project in English for the city’s foreign guests – the European Capital of Culture.
UMNI with national award for intelligent chatbots in tourism
UMNI won the SMARTOURISM.BG Annual Award for 2019 in the Hotel and Restaurant Software category, which was awarded during the 3rd SMARTOURISM National Conference on October 17, 2019 in Burgas.
SMARTOURISM’s annual 2-day national conference is dedicated to smart tourism and brings together experts and professionals to present research findings, challenges and best practices discussed.
An important part of the program is the recognition of companies and organizations that contribute to the development of smart tourism in Bulgaria by giving them annual awards.
Our company ranks among the awarded in other categories municipality Burgas, municipality Sozopol, ESTI and others. The Umni team was also included in the conference program with a presentation on Intelligent Assistants in Tourism – to help both hotels, restaurants, travel agents and other businesses and cities and destinations.
UMNI took part in Bulgarian Digital Week
The UMNI team took part in the Bulgarian Digital Week at the International Technical Fair, which took place in Plovdiv from 23 September to 28 September 2019.
The International Technical Fair is the largest business meeting in Bulgaria, which offers attractive forms for presentation and showcases new models for business development.
The UMNI’s team was invited as an expert in the field of virtual assistants, chatbots and smart tourism to share the latest in these fields with lectures on:
- Chatbot for Business: Theory and Practice
- “Smart tourism: what is it and is there soil in Bulgaria?”
- Plovdiv City Concierge – the benefits of chat for the city and business
UMNI also stood out with an TV interview in 2 languages, as well as an extensive article on chatbots in the special issue of Digital Technology magazine, which was published for the Bulgarian Digital Week event.
The Umni City Concierge was accepted into the Salzburg accelerator
Chatbot agency Umni has been accepted into a startup accelerator for technology companies in the tourism industry Next Floor Tech for Tourism Accelerator in Salzburg.
The 3-month program is organized by Next Floor Venture Capital Services and aims to support the development of promising startups in the tourism industry.
The accelerator program takes place at various well-known tourist sites in Salzburg and began with content and emotion-rich lectures and discussions in one of the halls of the Hellbrunn Palace, built by Prince Archbishop Markus Cityus in 1612.
This accelerator season involves startups from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, India and Umni from Bulgaria with projects from software for management and travel platforms to kitchen robots.
Our company caught the attention of the organizers with our City Chatbot (City Concierge Project). The program will end in late November with a Demo Day and presentation of startup projects to the Next Floor investor circle.
