Plovdiv City Concierge in “Radiocafe”
Plovdiv City Concierge was the main subject of the interview with our CEO Elitza Stoilova and the journalists Lili Goleminova and Konstantin Lavsov in the morning radio-program “Radiocafe” at the Bulgarian National Radio.
The first city chatbot in Bulgaria is working already a month and the journalists were curious what is a chatbot, how it helps, why now, what the Plovdiv City Concierge can do. They were impressed that the virtual assistant can provide not only information about businesses, services and places in the city but also the weather prognoses, current air quality information, an exchange rate, and calculator and even the horoscope for the day.
The official presentation for the Plovdiv City Concierge will be on 11 May during the Plovdiv Wine Festival “Wine and Gourmet”, hosted by the Plovdiv Tourism Council.

Virtual assistants in the hospitality – in practice at Travel Academy
Umni participated at the largest Bulgarian hospitality industry conference, the 6th Annual Travel Academy (April 5-6, 2019), with its own booth at the exhibition and with a lecture of the Umni’ CEO about virtual assistants in hospitality. The conference gathered over 500 professionals from hotels and travel agencies from the entire country.
The lecture of our CEO, Elitza Stoilova was met with interest and brought a lot of questions afterwards. Elitza spoked about the changes in the digital behavior of the people, that brought the necessity of the automation of the communication with the customers, what is chatbot, how it is used internationally in the hospitality industry as well as successful chatbot cases from the industry in Bulgaria, such as the hotels “Kamengrad Hotel and Spa” and “Earth and People Hotel and Spa”, some of the Umni customers. Our team will treasure for a long time such comments as “finally I understood what is chatbot” and “this lecture changed my opinion about chatbots – they are not good-to-have, but must-have for the business in order to succeed” said by the hospitality professionals.
Our team used the opportunity to announce officially from the Travel Academy stage the creation of the largest project of Umni, the first Bulgarian city chatbot Plovdiv City Concierge (check it here

The First Bulgarian Singer with Chatbot – Powered by Umni
What is common between the Bulgarian singer Djina Stoeva and Shakira, Aerosmith, 50 Cents, Maroon 5, Paul McCartney and Katy Perry?
They all have chatbots to communicate with their fans. Djina is the 1st Bulgarian singer to digitize her communication in Messenger and her followers can find there information about her performance, just to be curious about her life or even to invite her to their private party – all of this available 24/7. Djina’s virtual assistant (https://m.me/JinaStoevaOfficial) is powered by Umni.
Djina and our CEO Elitza Stoilova talked with the anchor Ivaylo Lakov in the studio of the business show “Club Investor” (Bloomberg TV) about the software solution and how it helps not only the singer but could be used successfully by any business, about AI and shall people be afraid of the artificial intelligence, is it possible to argue with chatbot and other subjects.
The record of the show is available below, or you can read the summary on the Bloomberg TV (Bulgaria) website here:
