Umni in Select Portfolio – the elite list of Founder Institute

Extremely exciting news came this week in an email from the Founder Institute CEO, Ado Resessi from Palo Alto, CA:

Our Umni company has been added to the accelerator’s Select Portfolio elite list, which identifies the top 2% of the more than 4,000 companies that have completed this accelerator.

From Bulgaria, only 2 companies are represented in the Select Portfolio (one is Umni), there are 5 in Eastern Europe and 36 companies in Europe. A total of 207 companies from all over the world are listed in the Founder Institute Select Portfolio elite list.

To identify participants in this list, FI looks at companies individually according to their prospects of becoming a global business that is changing the world. “We really believe in what you do”, said Ado Ressi, one of the leading entrepreneurs and investors in Silicon Valley, in a congratulatory letter.
