In mid-summer, Umni was back on the radio air with chatbots and artificial intelligence.
Our CEO Elitza Stoilova was live on the morning block of Radio Sofia with the host Lili Goleminova in a conversation about chatbots and artificial intelligence. The occasion was the creation of a city tourism AI chatbot of Pernik, which is being developed on the Umni platform by a team of volunteers in Pernik. We are glad to participate in this project as a technological platform and partner and as a developer of the concept.
The focus of the conversation was the need for such digital tools for small cities. Chatbots with conversational artificial intelligence are useful not only because tourism trends are towards greater personalization and demand for slower tourism in secondary tourism areas that are not on the “highway” of tourist flows and where “Google sent us” as well as the demand for an experience “like a local”, but also because even people in local communities do not know their region well. Pride in one’s region starts with knowing it.
These and other issues around smart cities, smart tourism, and the use of artificial intelligence were discussed by Elitza and host Lily. Here you can listen to a recording of the conversation on Radio Sofia:
